Who we are?
Move & Stash is a student-first summer storage service created by a University of Guelph alum, for University of Guelph students. We support students moving out after the winter semester by providing a safe and convenient place to store their belongings over the summer – especially for those flying home, living out of province, or without access to a vehicle.
With Move & Stash, you only pay for what you store. Whether you need space for one box or multiple boxes, you can choose what works best for you, with optional add-ons for larger items such as lamps, mini fridge, and other essentials. We also provide packing boxes, pick up your items at move-out, and deliver everything back to you before the fall semester begins.

Do you provide packing supplies?
Yes. We ship packing supplies based on the package you choose, including boxes and labeling materials, so you don’t need to source anything yourself.
What are your operating hours?
Simply:
• Fill out the form on our website
• Our team will contact you with a customized storage quote
• Confirm your package and pickup details
• That’s it — we handle the rest.
Do you serve on-campus and off-campus students?
Yes! We support both on-campus (rez) and off-campus students.
Pickup locations are organized based on your housing type and will be communicated after booking.
What items can I store?
You can store most common student items, including:
• Clothes, shoes, bedding
• Books and school supplies
• Small furniture and décor
• Kitchen items (kettle, blender, cookware, etc.)
• Lamps, mirrors, and personal items
🚫 We do not store perishable food, plants, illegal items, or hazardous materials.
How does pickup work?
Once you’ve packed your items:
• We schedule a pickup from a designated common location (for rez or off-campus housing)
• Our team collects your labeled boxes and transports them to secure storage
Exact pickup dates and instructions are shared ahead of time.
How long are my items stored?
Items are stored securely over the summer (April, May, June, July, Aug) and delivered back before the fall semester begins, based on the return schedule you select.
Is my stuff safe?
Yes. All items are stored in secure, monitored storage facilities and handled carefully by our team throughout pickup, storage, and delivery.

What is Cancellation & Refund Policy?
Deposits
• A $50 deposit is required to secure your booking.
• Deposits are fully refundable until January 30.
• After January 30, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
Cancellations
• All bookings are for the full summer storage period (4 months). From the date of pick up + May, June, July, August.
• If a booking is cancelled after January 30, the booking deposit of $50 is non-refundable.
• If a booking is cancelled mid-summer, charges for the remaining storage period will still apply.
Refunds
• Refunds are not guaranteed and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• Refunds may be considered only in the event of damaged goods, subject to review and documentation.
• Once items have been picked up or placed into storage, no refunds will be issued.
What is the End-of-Summer Delivery & Unclaimed Items Policy?
Students are responsible for providing a valid drop-off location and availability for end-of-summer delivery.
If we do not receive delivery details, Move & Stash will make three attempts to contact you via phone and email using the contact information provided at booking.
If no response or delivery instructions are received within one (1) week after the scheduled drop-off period, the items will be considered unclaimed.
At that point, Move & Stash reserves the right to discard or donate the items at our discretion. No refunds or compensation will be provided for unclaimed items.
